INSPIRIT  [in-'spi-rit]

1) transitive verb - to fill with vigor; to inspire

2) noun - the men's chorus

inSpirit is a group of men from southeast Tennessee and north Georgia, diverse in age, denomination, and profession, united in the joy of praising God through song. The group came together informally in the spring of 2003 to sing for a church event highlighting the role of men in family and society. That successful performance led to the formation of the group.  Because it is an auditioned community chorus, inSpirit is made up of accountants, nurses, pastors, physicians, real estate brokers and investors, retirees, salesmen, students, teachers, and many other occupations.

inSpirit performs in many venues includng churches, concert halls, and is available for special events as well.  

In the summer of 2010, inSpirit was privileged to be invited to participate in a joint concert with the Morriston RFC Male Chorus.  Morriston is a suburb of Swansea, Wales.  The group toured through England and Wales, and performed in many wonderful places, including Salisbury Cathedral.

Current plans for the summer of 2013 will find inSpirit in New York City and in our nation's capitol for a series of concerts.  More information will be forthcoming as details are finalized.
